My six random things:

1. I am related to John C. Calhoun who fathered illegitimate child, Abraham Lincoln.

2. I was an art major in college and never took an art class in my life until sophomore year at College of Charleston.

3. I was once told I must marry a 12 year old Muslim boy while riding a camel in Egypt with him by the Sphinx. (I was 14 years old.) Apparently, if he touches me, I must then marry him in exchange for 3 goats. My aunt cussed him out in Arabic and that was the end of it.

4. I shortly thereafter was held in Customs in Cairo, Egypt since my visa had run out. (Again 14 years old with no parents in the country.) My uncle then cussed them out in Arabic and that was the end of that matter as well.

5. When I received my epidural with my second child, the anesthesiologist (maybe 25 years old) said, "Oops!" which nearly caused my husband to punch her in the face. "He said, 'You cannot say that while you are pushing a needle into my wife's spine!"

6. My heart rate is normally so low that it won't even register on the machine after I have been running hard on the treadmill for 30 minutes.
